Objective:
Oberto wanted to generate awareness, interest, and entries for the Oberto Fantasy Sports Camp Sweepstakes hosted on the Oberto Facebook page

 

Strategy:

  • Design a multifaceted promotional initiative targeting adult recreational programs in seven key Oberto markets over a six week period
  • Negotiate on-site access at high traffic adult rec league events in each market
  • Use brand ambassadors to engage and educate adult recreation league players, along with samples and giveaways to incentivize entries
  • Support the sampling program with focused digital outreach, including website advertisements, social media, and targeted email campaigns

 

Results:

  • Over the six week program period, Oberto received 45,368 entries for the sweepstakes through Facebook
  • This represents a 2,924% increase over entries received the previous quarter
  • Through the course of the program the Oberto Facebook page community grew by over 4%
  • Directly engaged over 11,000 potential consumers
  • Reached roughly 120,000 unique adult recreation league players through emails blasts and digital outreach
